Raven Health Presents: The Importance of Accurate Clinical Documentation, and How We Can Look to Improve Our Process.

Course Description

In the current ABA and landscape we have seen a steady increase in the need for ABA services throughout the United States. This demand has subsequently driven the need for BCBAs to provide that care. Current information says that ~50% of all BCBAs have had their certificate for less then 3 years. This indicates that a majority of the workforce is new to the field. BCBAs are asked to oversee many different components of the care process for their caseloads and often times are undertrained on the many moving parts of proper case management and oversight. One key factor of that process is the clinical documentation process. In this session we will discuss the the importance of, ethical concerns related to, and the financial implications tied to proper documentation as well as how we as an industry can work together to improve and simplify the process. ∙
