Everything Raven Includes,
Priced per Learner
Four ways Raven’s plans differ from the platforms in the table.
Unlimited RBTs and BCBAs at No Extra Cost
Raven charges per learner, so adding clinicians never adds to the bill. ABA staffs close to 1:1, and on a per-user platform 20 learners can mean 20 or more paid seats. On Raven it means 20 learners, at one location or ten.
Every Feature Is on Every Raven Plan
Data collection, scheduling, AI session notes, the program bank, reporting, and caregiver access come with every Raven plan. The plans differ only in how much of your revenue cycle Raven’s team runs. Motivity and Theralytics each sell data collection and practice management as separate licenses.
Have Raven Run Your Billing and the Software Is $0
Raven Premium costs 5% of claims paid, month to month, with the $500 implementation fee waived and no software fee. Noteable’s comparable plan charges whichever is greater, its billing fee or its software fee.
Pricing Starts at Your First Learner
There is no client minimum and no monthly floor, so a solo BCBA with three learners pays for three learners, and the per-learner price holds as the caseload grows. Theralytics’ core plans start at 10 clients with a $200 to $300 monthly floor, and Noteable’s base plan is $300 a month from go-live.
Calculate What You Actually Pay in Your First Year
Enter your caseload and team size to price a year of software at each vendor’s published rate. Billing services are priced as a share of revenue at every vendor that offers them, so they sit outside this calculator for everyone, Raven included.
What This Assumes
- A full year at each vendor’s own published rate for data collection and practice management together
- Software and implementation only. Billing services, clearinghouse fees, and credentialing are left out for every vendor.
- Staff means the RBTs and BCBAs who log in. Office and billing logins are left out.
- Where a vendor publishes a per-client and a per-user plan, the cheaper one for your numbers is shown.
Year-one totals for 20 learners and 22 staff. Raven Health Standalone: $7,460.
- TheralyticsBundle, per client20 clients × $30 per client × 12 months$7,200
There is no implementation fee, and the Theralytics plans do not mention data migration, which Raven’s $500 fee includes.
- Raven HealthStandalone20 learners × $29 per learner × 12 months, plus a $500 implementation fee$7,460
The $500 implementation fee includes data migration.
- AlohaABAPractice Management + Data Collection22 staff × $29.99 per staff member × 12 months, plus 20 clients × $10 per client × 12 months$10,317
Practice management is billed per staff member, so the total rises with every RBT and BCBA you add. The $10 client rate is a discount off a $12 list price.
- MotivityAll-In-One20 learners × $50 per learner × 12 months$12,000
- NoteableStandard$300 a month for the first 5 users, plus 5 users × $50, 10 users × $45, 2 users × $35 a month, × 12 months$12,840
Plus a setup fee, which Noteable prices per practice and does not publish.
Two Plans That Charge a Share of Revenue
Raven Premium and Theralytics Start-Up Pro replace the license fee with a percentage of what you collect. There is no fixed total to draw for either one, and the right comparison is against your own billings.
- Raven HealthPremium5% of monthly claims paid, with no software fee and no implementation fee.
- TheralyticsStart-Up Pro$0 software while Theralytics runs your billing at 5% of receivables, with no client minimum, for practices that qualify as start-ups.
Raven and All Nine Platforms, in Detail
Start with Raven’s own profile, then open any platform for its published pricing, what it does well, what to watch for, and how it differs from Raven.
Raven Health
Best for Practices that want clinical tools and billing in one product, priced per learner, with the option to hand the revenue cycle to Raven’s team.
Raven puts data collection, AI session notes, scheduling, intake, authorization tracking, and claims in one product, priced per learner with unlimited RBT and BCBA users. Every plan carries the same clinical tools. The plans differ in how much of the revenue cycle Raven’s team takes on: none on Standalone and Self-Billing, your billing at 5% of claims paid on Premium, or billing plus credentialing, authorizations, and private pay at 7%.
- Standalone: $29 / learner / mo on an annual commitment, plus a $500 implementation fee that includes data migration.
- Premium: 5% of monthly claims paid, billed month to month, with no software fee and the $500 implementation fee waived.
- Managed services: 7% of claims paid, covering billing plus credentialing, authorizations, and private pay.
- Self-Billing: a custom quote for full in-house billing tools.
- Credentialing on its own: $200 per enrollment, for the practice and for each BCBA, with each insurer.
- No client minimum and no monthly floor on any plan.
What it does well
- Priced per learner, with unlimited RBT and BCBA users on every plan
- AI session notes, scheduling, the program bank, reporting, and caregiver access on every plan
- Offline data collection in its iOS and Android apps
- Client intake, authorization tracking, and live supervision in the same product
- Managed billing at 5% of claims paid, with no software fee and no implementation fee
- Data migration included in the implementation fee
Worth knowing
- No self-serve free trial; you start with a guided demo
- No built-in video for telehealth sessions
- Standalone is an annual commitment with a $500 implementation fee; Premium is month to month
- At 20 learners, Theralytics’ per-client bundle costs less than Standalone in year one
- Noteable publishes a lower managed-billing rate, 3.9% of collections against Premium’s 5%
The Five in the Table
CentralReach
Best for Organizations that want payroll, a learning management system, and billing services from one vendor, and have staff to run it.
CentralReach brings payroll, learning management, and managed billing together from one vendor, and an organization that needs all three in one contract gets real value from it. Raven covers the clinical and billing workflow in one product, prices it per learner, includes data migration in its implementation fee, and publishes the rate, whether you run one site or many.
- No public pricing; every deal is a custom quote.
- Billed per active user seat each month, never below a committed seat count set in the order.
- CR Essentials, the small-practice edition, is billed month to month.
What it does well
- Scheduling, billing, payroll, learning management, and analytics in one catalog
- AI note drafting, note auditing, and progress-report drafting (NoteDraftAI, NoteGuardAI, ReportDraftAI)
- Fully managed billing through CR BillMax alongside the software
- Offline data collection in the CR Mobile app for iOS and Android
- A completed SOC 2 audit, verified by BDO
Worth knowing
- Priced per user, so the cost scales with your RBT headcount
- Committed seats can be raised every six months and never lowered, and subscription fees can rise up to 7% a year, compounding
- Data imports are billed hourly, with a two-hour minimum
- NoteDraftAI, its AI note drafting, is an add-on
Rethink Behavioral Health
RethinkBHBest for Organizations that want clinical software and staff training in one contract.
Rethink pairs its clinical software with RBT training and 1,500+ treatment plan templates, and for a practice whose hardest problem is onboarding new staff, that bundle does real work. Raven prices per learner instead of per user, publishes the full rate, and includes AI session notes and scheduling on every plan.
- Priced per user. Its comparison pages cite a starting figure of about $20 per user per month and call it indicative.
- Otherwise quoted; price varies with plan, location, and volume.
What it does well
- 1,500+ customizable treatment plan templates, each paired with video-based training
- 40-hour RBT training and a monthly CE webinar series
- Online and offline data collection in the RethinkBH+ app
- In-house or fully managed billing on its BillAI platform
- Payer enrollment handled by its own team during onboarding
Worth knowing
- AI scheduling (TheraDriver) is an add-on
- The published figure is a starting price with no stated scope; the full rate card is quoted
- No built-in video sessions; it supports telehealth billing codes and modifiers
Passage Health
Best for Clinic-based practices that want session data to flow straight into claims, with authorization limits checked at scheduling.
Passage ties session data, authorization limits, and claims together in one system, and a supervisor can follow session data live from their own device. Raven publishes its rates, $29 per learner per month or 5% of claims paid with no software fee when our team runs your billing, and every plan includes AI session notes, scheduling, and caregiver access.
- Quote only; no published rates.
- Its terms of service default to a one-year term, billed annually, that renews automatically.
What it does well
- Claims created directly from session data, with automatic payment posting
- Authorization tracking that blocks scheduling past approved limits
- A live view of session data from the supervisor's own device
- Offline data capture in its iOS and Android apps
- Client intake with lead tracking and caregiver forms
Worth knowing
- No published pricing; every plan is a custom quote
- Passage describes itself as optimized for clinic-based ABA more than home- or school-based services
- Credentialing support is certification expiry tracking; Passage says it does not handle payer credentialing itself
- AI note drafting comes through a Frontera AI integration rather than Passage's own product
Motivity
Best for Clinically driven practices that want deep data collection and are willing to pay for both halves of the platform.
Motivity’s template library is larger than Raven’s program bank, and AI session notes come with its data collection license. Raven’s combined plan is $29 per learner where Motivity’s is $50, and Raven Premium runs your billing for 5% of claims paid with no software fee.
- $26 / learner / mo for data collection alone, or $24 / learner / mo for practice management alone.
- $50 / learner / mo for both.
- The standard agreement is 12 months, with 24-month, 36-month, and month-to-month options.
What it does well
- 1,000+ ready-to-go program templates
- AI session note drafting included with data collection
- New program designs can be run in a simulated session before they go live
- Credential and payor-contract tracking (ConCred, sold separately)
- Serves ABA, speech, OT, and PT providers on one platform
Worth knowing
- Data collection and practice management are separate licenses; the combined platform is $50 / learner / mo
- Client intake is an add-on module
Hi Rasmus
Best for Clinically complex and interdisciplinary teams with heavy supervision and oversight requirements.
Hi Rasmus is built around supervision, with a Live Supervision Mode and audit trails for oversight-heavy teams, and it sends billing to a connected system or to its partner Camber. Raven includes AI session notes on every plan and keeps the note, the schedule, and the claim in one product.
- Standard client license $19 / client / mo, Premium $24 / client / mo, published in its terms and conditions.
- Scheduling is a $9 / client / mo add-on; premium staff profiles are $4.50 / staff / mo.
- Billing runs in a connected system or through its partner Camber.
- Billed monthly; either side can end the agreement with 30 days’ notice.
What it does well
- Live Supervision Mode with real-time data and embedded supervision notes
- Mobile-first data collection across a wide range of data types
- Telehealth inside the platform, from 1 hour per client per month on Standard to 30 on Premium
- Program and data imports from CentralReach, Catalyst, RethinkBH, ABAdesk, and other platforms
- Free standard staff licenses for every team member
Worth knowing
- AI session summaries, Live Supervision Mode, and the full curriculum need the Premium license
- Billing is not built in; claims run through a connected system or its partner Camber
- Scheduling tracks authorization dates but not unit utilization
Four More ABA Platforms
Theralytics
Best for Cost-conscious practices that want published per-client pricing and no annual contract, and start-ups that qualify for its billing-inclusive plans.
For a 20-client clinic, Theralytics comes in under Raven Standalone in year one, $7,200 against $7,460, because it charges no implementation fee. Both offer $0 software while they run your billing at 5%: Theralytics through Start-Up Pro, for practices that qualify as start-ups, and Raven through Premium, for any practice.
- $20 / client / mo for practice management or data collection alone.
- $30 / client / mo for both.
- Per-user plans: $30 / user / mo for one module, $45 for both.
- Core plans: a 10-client or 10-user minimum and a $200 to $300 monthly floor, with no annual contract.
- BCBA Start-Up Pro: $0 software while Theralytics runs your billing at 5% of receivables, with no client minimum.
- BCBA Start-Up Package: free for up to six months or until your first client, on a one-year subscription, with billing at 4.5% of receivables.
What it does well
- A $30 per-client bundle with no onboarding fee and no annual contract
- AI narrative summaries included in practice management
- Offline data collection
- Start-Up Pro: $0 software and no client minimum while Theralytics runs your billing
Worth knowing
- Core plans carry a 10-client or 10-user minimum and a $200 to $300 monthly floor; of the two start-up plans, only Start-Up Pro drops the minimum
- The free BCBA Start-Up Package requires a one-year subscription
AlohaABA
Best for Small practices that want straightforward practice management and a free trial before they commit.
Aloha offers a 30-day free trial and charges no implementation fee. On price, Aloha bills per staff member, so at a 1:1 ratio 20 learners means 22 licenses. Raven bills per learner, and the same clinic pays for 20.
- $29.99 / staff / mo for practice management.
- Data collection is a $10 / client / mo add-on (listed at $12) that requires the practice management plan.
- No implementation fee, and a 30-day free trial.
What it does well
- A 30-day free trial
- No implementation fee
- Unlimited clients and payers on the practice management plan
- Scheduling, billing, payroll, and authorization tooling
- Managed billing from its own team, alongside in-house billing tools
Worth knowing
- Practice management bills per staff member, so a 1:1 RBT roster drives the price up quickly
- Data collection cannot be bought on its own
- Offline data collection is partial, by Aloha's own description
- The managed billing rate is not published
Noteable
Best for Small teams that want a flat monthly software bill instead of a per-client meter.
Noteable’s 3.9% managed-billing rate is lower than Raven’s 5%, and a practice with high collections should model that gap. Noteable Elite also charges whichever is greater, its billing fee or its software fee, where Raven Premium charges the 5% and nothing for the software.
- Standard: $300 / mo including the first five users, with additional users billed by tier.
- Elite: 3.9% of monthly collections, with the Standard software fee as the floor.
- Setup fee varies. Month to month with 30 days’ notice.
What it does well
- Managed billing at 3.9% of collections, the lowest published rate on this page
- A flat base price with unlimited clients
- Offline data collection, e-signatures, and audit trails
- Month-to-month terms with 30 days’ notice
- 837 claim export for practices billing in-house
Worth knowing
- The $300 monthly base applies from go-live whatever the caseload, so an early-stage practice pays the full amount from its first client
- Users beyond the first five are billed by tier, so the bill rises with headcount
- Elite charges the greater of the billing fee or the software fee, so you keep paying for the software when they bill for you
- Telehealth and e-faxing are $25 / mo each on Standard
ABAdesk
Best for Solo practitioners and very small teams who need data collection and nothing else.
ABAdesk does one job, data collection, at some of the lowest published rates here, and a solo practitioner who needs only that gets a simple tool with no contract. Raven covers scheduling, claims, credentialing, and AI session notes in the same product.
- $50 / mo for a single user with up to 10 clients.
- $10 / client / mo for the first 24 clients on the multi-user plan, with each later band of clients billed lower, down to $6.50 for every client past the 149th.
- $1,225 / mo for unlimited clients and users.
- Contract-free, with the first month free.
What it does well
- Published rates on its own site, starting at $10 / client / mo
- First month free, and no contract at any tier
- A small, simple feature set with little to learn
Worth knowing
- Data collection only; scheduling, claims, and credentialing need another system
- Minimal public documentation and a small published feature surface
